Our story

Twenty years.
The same conversation.

I’m Bobby, the person behind ListTap. For the last twenty years, I’ve been having different versions of the same conversation.

“Why didn’t you put that
on the shopping list?”

As a teenager, it was Mum, after I’d finished the milk. In my first share house, it was my housemates, after I’d used the last of the cereal. Now I have my own family, and my wife gets to ask the question.

Twenty years. Three households. One common denominator. Me.

My answer? “I’ll put it on the list later.”

But later never comes. There’s always something else to do, and when it’s time to shop, that small thought has slipped away.

I wanted a way to add something while I was standing there, thinking about it. A button beside the item, or built into its container lid. One press, and it’s on the list.

That became ListTap: a shopping-list system for your home, built around a simple idea. Think of it, tap it.

Whoever notices you need more can add it. The remembering, like the shopping list, becomes something the household can share.

Actual working ListTap prototypes: container Lid, small Tap and powered touchscreen Hub

From our home
to your household.

The Taps, Lid, Hub and shared website now have working prototypes. I’m refining the hardware and planning the first small batches, turning that everyday frustration into something other households can use.

The goal is simple: spend less time trying to remember what you need, and make the next shop easier.
